The calculations above show a safety factor of 2.75 for a
Zone 4 seismic location.
Basically this means the systems structural integrity
is over an acceptable factor of 1 for a high seismic potential
location.
These systems are safe for the pedestrians below as well as
safe for our environment.
These solar tree lighting systems are unobtrusive and hardly
noticeable from street level. The noticeable aspect is at night
when the light fixtures are illuminated, providing a pleasing
up-lighting effect within the tree
The solar panels protrude 4 feet above the canopy to allow
for foliage growth without shading the solar panels. The trees
are trimmed annually by the cities Forestry Department.
