Kids Go Solar These kids play houses are solar powered with safe low voltage electricity. Both structures have exterior and interior lighting as well as 12 volt wall outlets for TV's, radios and fans. Construction The solar array is comprised of three 75 watt panels which produce over 850 watt hours of power daily. The solar panels and battery boxes are safely secured onto the existing flag pole. The battery boxes contain 2 Concorde 100 amp hour sealed, non-venting batteries, capable of storing and providing over 2 kwh of electricity. Both play houses have 2 exterior 11 watt compact fluorescent light fixtures controlled by an automatic timer. Safety Utilizing solar panels to generate power for kids play houses is safe, economical, reliable and cool. This system incorporates a solar charge and lighting controller, as well as a separate low-voltage disconnect to the play house wall sockets.
